Today we have begun to accommodate some very special guests. Finally Pre – European Tennis Beach Championship 2016 reached Cambrils and this last weekend of February we are fully booked.

Cub Sports Centre is the championship organizer and have chosen Hotel El Camí experience in this kind of events. We have 52 players, 16 male partners and 10 female partners, hosted as very special guests..

The competition, which Spain current champions are exempt, will bring together the best Spanish ranking couples in male and female draw, under a knockout system without cash prizes. There will be a losers tournament for those couples eliminated in the first round.

The matches are best of three sets format. In case of a tie, the third will be decided in a super tie-break, except the semifinals and final that will be played at the best of three sets.

This weekend will see players that come from Gran Canaria, Melilla and several Catalan clubs from Terrassa, Montgat or Cambrils. They  will give everything on the court of the Cub Sports Centre. Although snow is forecast for this weekend at low altitudes, there is nothing better than the best sports facilities in Tarragona to host this Pre-European Beach Tennis tournament.

Since many years ago we host at Hotel El Camí people looking for a quiet family hotel in an area where the sport is booming. As an example at the end of 2015 we hosted numerous couples from  the Spanish Open Salou and the Archery championship of Cambrils.
